If you want to be working with cutting edge ML and AI systems implemented into Robotics and embedded hardware, the CS teams are for you. CV focuses on auto-aiming and an ML detection algorithm, while Controls focuses on embedded programming the Robot using ROS.

For our mechanical engineers, you’ll get to do hands on work with the two mech teams, CAD and Production. CAD focuses on bringing the robot design ideas to life in SolidWorks alongside testing and validating our designs with ANSYS. From there, Production builds full scale prototypes until the final design is approved, moving to a metal structure.

Marketing and competition are the lifeblood behind all the other teams. With marketing, you’ll get hands on with interacting with a community via social media post, website design, and sponsorship outreach. Our competition team focuses on completing the required tasks to qualify, alongside creating a Unity simulation of the game rules for robot driver practice.
